The goal at On Pins & Needles Quilting Co is to see your vision of how you want your quilt to look.  EDGE-TO-EDGE (aka "All-Over") QUILTING

Edge-to-edge quilting is our most popular quilting service featuring a single pattern over the entire quilt.

Mail in Edge to Edge Quilting Services are $0.03/square inch. This includes quilting, batting, thread/supplies, and free return shipping via UPS or USPS.

Local customer dropping off quilts will be charged at our normal local rate of $0.025/square inch plus batting (price varies per size). Thread/supplies are included free of charge. Local services do not include free return shipping.

Example:  Quilt top is 60 inches wide by 60 inches long, multiply 60 in. x 60 in. to get total square inches. Multiply the total square inches by $0.025 to get the estimated cost for the quilting services. It will look something like this:

60 in. x 60 in. =  3,600 sq. in.
3,600 sq. in. x $.025 = $90.00

CUSTOM QUILTING

Custom quilting services feature multiple patterns on the same quilt. Custom quilting is typically only required for quilts that need more intricate work done.

Custom and semi-custom quilting costs typically range between about $0.04 and $0.07/square inch. The price will vary as each custom piece varies on density and complexity of the custom designs that are used. We are happy to discuss your quilt design prior to shipping to ensure that we can match your vision.

BINDING

Machine binding is a flat $45 charge. It consists of attaching the binding on the front and rolling it over to the back and stitching it down using a sewing machine.

Hand binding is a flat $99 charge. Please allow up to an additional 5-7 business days to your order as this process takes time.

 

 

BATTING

We carry Winline and Quilter's Dream brands. Unless otherwise requested, we will use a Winline Comfort Blend 80/20 Cotton Polyester. If you choose to send your own batting with your quilt, we will be happy to use it as long as it is at least 3 inches larger than your quilt top on each side. There is no discount for using your own batting.

 

 

QUILT BACKING

Your quilt backing MUST be at least 4 inches larger than your quilt top on all sides. For example, if you quilt top is 60 x 80 inches, your quilt back should be at least 68 x 88 inches.

If you would like us to piece your quilt back for you, there is a $10 charge.
